International Network of Engaged Buddhists (INEB) and Law Association of Thammasat University cordially invite you to a talk on “From Slavery to Freedom, Breaking Bondage with Dhamma” by Dhammacari Lokmitra (Former Jeremy Goody) – A British ordained to Western Buddhist Order and an activist who has been working with the Dalits (The untouchable) for a long time in order to restore human dignity to the people and Buddhism to India. The talk will be on Sunday 25, November, 2007 from 15.00-18.00 Hrs. at Jitti Tingsapat Meeting Room, Faculty of Law, Thammasat University, Tha Prachan Campus, Bangkok. Documentary “Untouchable Country” about the enslaving and injustice toward the Dalits will be screened before the lecture. Sulak Sivaraka will give closing remark.
