English Synopsis

Sentient beings universally think ‘I want to be happy and free from unease.’ However, it seems to us that no matter how much or however we try these goals elude us. Even when we do attain some happiness it does not remain. Why is it this way, what can I do differently, how can I achieve these, must I become ordained, must I retire to secluded places, how to I balance work, family, and practice, are but some of the most commonly asked questions since ancient times. This talk will give the Buddha’s timeless answers and wise counsels in modern terms that is easy to understand and immediately applicable in our daily lives.Tawana Ramada Hotel
